Is there a minimum contract length?

We work on rolling monthly agreements with a 3-month minimum to get the foundations in place. SEO and digital marketing don't deliver results overnight, three months is the realistic minimum to see meaningful traction. After that, you can cancel with 30 days' notice. We don't believe in locking clients in with 12-month contracts.

How quickly will I see results?

For local SEO, expect early wins (Google Business Profile improvements, technical fixes) within the first 30 days, and meaningful ranking movement by month 3-4. National SEO and competitive markets typically take 4-6 months to show real revenue impact. We provide monthly reports so you can see progress from day one.

Do I need a new website before I can start?

Not necessarily. We can work with most existing websites, as long as they're technically sound and on a modern platform. If your current site is holding back your SEO performance such as slow load speeds, no mobile responsiveness or poor structure we'll tell you upfront and recommend a web design package first. There's no point optimising a broken foundation.

What's the difference between Local SEO and National SEO?

Local SEO targets buyers searching for services in your specific area, useful for tradespeople, service businesses and anyone whose customers are within a defined geography. National SEO targets buyers across the UK and is suited to e-commerce, B2B services and businesses that aren't location-dependent. If you're not sure which fits, we'll work it out on the call.

Who actually does the work?

Ollie does. Every client works directly with him, no account managers, no juniors, no offshore subcontractors. For specialist work like advanced technical SEO or paid campaign setup, we occasionally bring in trusted specialists, but they work directly to Ollie's brief and you'll always know who's doing what.

How much extra do paid ads cost on top of the package?

The package fee covers strategy, setup, management and reporting. Your ad spend (the money paid to Google, Meta or LinkedIn) is separate and paid directly by you. We typically recommend starting with £500-£1,500 per month in ad spend depending on your market, and we never take a percentage of ad spend.

Can I just buy one piece, like Google Business Profile setup, without committing to a monthly package?

Yes. We offer one-off services as well as monthly packages. Google Business Profile setup, technical SEO audits, content writing and keyword research are all available as standalone projects. Book a call and we'll quote for what you actually need.

What reporting do I get?

A monthly performance report covering rankings, traffic, enquiries, technical SEO health and competitor activity. Plus a quarterly strategy review where we look at what's working, what isn't, and where to focus next. The report is in plain English, no jargon, no vanity metrics, just what matters.

What if I want to cancel?

Give us 30 days' notice in writing (email is fine) and we'll wind things down cleanly. You keep everything we've built, content, optimisations, Google Business Profile improvements, the lot. We don't hold anything hostage and we don't make leaving difficult.

Can I upgrade or downgrade between packages?

Yes, at any time. If you start on Local SEO and want to expand nationally six months in, we'll move you onto National SEO at your next billing cycle. Likewise if you need to scale back temporarily we'd rather keep a client at a lower tier than lose them entirely.
