AI Slurp and the new slurpometer

I’ve got a new term for when I see company websites with blogs that are basically a copy/paste of whatever Chat GBT has given the person asking for a ‘blog post’. AI slurp.

Now I’m not sure I have actually created the phrase but as it genuinely came to mind this morning when reviewing a clients competitors website so I’m making it my own.

It’s a simple phrase formed of two parts.

The AI bit refers to the source and the slurp bit refers to the person consuming it.

Just like the way some people consume a smoothie by just slurping it down without any enjoyment.

So AI Slurp it is from here onwards and it will now be added with a slurp type emoji to my review sheet.

I like to score things 1-5 so if you score a 5 on the AI Slurpometer be warned as it means I’ve spotted the crappy raw AI content churn in your blog then Google probably has too.

And that my friends is really not demonstrating your topical authority whatsoever.
